The face that may not have launched a thousand ships, but apparently inspired four songs (George Harrison's Something, and Eric Clapton's Bell Bottom Blues, Wonderful Tonight and, of course, Layla). The title of the song was inspired by the Persian tale of unrequited love, Layla and Majnun.This video is from the 1992 appearance of Clapton on MTV Unplugged, and appears on Clapton's Unplugged album from the same year.
