It certainly is the truth. The double-standards are so obvious that people don't even try to hide it anymore. But, that is all part of the great trial that Muslims will face till their death.

Actually, the "brother/sister" thing is common among other religious denominations. I'm quite familiar with the Mormon faith (some of my family are members), and they too call each other "brother" and "sister."

It's not just about dress either - think of how Muslims use the words "brother" and "sister".
